📋 About This Mod

NPC's Affected:

- Maglir; for all three locations he'll be staying at throughout the Fighters Guild. Also, if he somehow survives during "The Hist" the guards will come and cut him down.

- K'sharr; heads on down to the Waterfront to stay and converse with his fellow thieves.

- Essential Cheydinhal Guard; Takes a break for Gods' sake!

- Tandilwe; heads out to the Tiber Septim Hotel occasionally for a rest and break.

- Kvatch Guards & Ilav Dralgoner (optional - see files section); Will comfort and protect the survivors, and some guards will take trips to the chapel.

- Denel and Skaleel; no longer rotting away in Vahtacen, return to the University when the quest is completed to continue their studies.

Note that some conditions may not function adequately on existing saves, depending on quest progress.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Community-approved with 247 endorsements and nearly 75k downloads—clearly fills a need.
  • Fixes a noticeable immersion killer: NPCs standing like statues 24/7.
  • Lightweight and straightforward—no complex setup or extra tools required.

⚠️ Cons

  • Last updated in December 2022—may not be compatible with the latest Oblivion patches or mods.
  • Only affects NPCs that were completely static; NPCs with existing routines are untouched.
  • No detailed documentation or patch notes provided, so you're on your own if issues arise.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Oblivion players who hate seeing NPCs frozen in place and want a livelier world without overhaul mods. If you're a roleplayer or explorer who notices idle NPCs, this is a must-have. Skip if you prefer total overhauls or don't mind static NPCs.
