Name: Kevlar Version: 1. 0 Date: 6/2/2012 6:36:41 PM Author(s): DocRob Description ======== Kevlar adds 12 vanilla clothing items to the game as light armor for both males and females; these items are slightly below the specs of leather and fur armor, slightly more expensive than the standard clothing versions, and just a touch heavier. These are not replacers and use standard vanilla Oblivion textures (optionally for those using Roberts Male/Female body mods, textures are included for use with those mods as well.) All items are sold by Maro Rufus at The Best Defense in the IC Market District. Items avaible are: 1. Blacksmith\'s Sturdy Apron (Leather) 2. Blacksmith\'s Sturdy Pants (Leather) 3. Huntsman\'s Hide Vest (Leather) 4. Huntsman\'s Buckskin Pants (Leather) 5. Reinforced Fishing Waders (Leather) 6. Monk\'s Leather Robe (Leather) 7. Rugged Leather Laced Pants (Leather) 8. Black Leather Robe (Leather) 9. Wizard\'s Padded Robe (Fur) 10. Padded Doublet (Fur) 11. Leather Highwayman\'s Shirt (Leather) 12. Adventurer\'s Breeches (Leather) I originally wrote this mod to ease myself into learning the Construction Set, and to provide a light armored outfit for a thief character I was roleplaying; I decided to upload it here in case anyone else might be interested in it. The clothing I chose I thought fit best with an armored look without actually being obvious armor. No permission is needed to reuse any elements of this mod; feel free to do with it as you please, though if you\'d like to give me credit, I won\'t argue it. :-) Requirements ========== Oblivion Patch 1. 2. 0. 214 (Official 1. 2 Patch) Installation Instructions ================= 1. Open up the Kevlar.zip file and unpack the folder marked Data to your Obliviondirectory. Start your game and check \"Kevlar.esp\" in the Data Files launcher or your launching utility. 2. If you\'re using Robert\'s Male or Female Body Replacer mods, do the following before launching the game: 1. Expand the Optional_Meshes for Roberts Male and Female directory in the archive. 2. Open up the appropriate folder (male or female), and extract the folder marked \"kevlar\" to Oblivion\\Data\\Meshes. Click Yes to All to overwrite. Repeat if needed for the second folder (this will depend on if you\'re using one or both body replacers.) Uninstallation Instructions =================== 1. Delete \"Kevlar.esp\" from your Oblivion\\Data directory 2. Delete the folder \"kevlar\" from your Oblivion\\Data\\Meshes folder. 3. Delete the folder \"kevlar\" from your Oblivion\\Data\\Textures\\Menus\\Icons directory. 4. Delete this README. And that\'s it...you\'re done. Incompatability =========== As this mod really alters nothing (all items are new and simply uses the meshes/textures of existing vanilla items) there should be no incompatability problems.
