~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Harpsichords in Cyrodiil by Tarnsman ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Adds harpsichords to the game. These may be found in the following locations: Anvil - The Count\'s Arms Bravil - Castle Bravil Great Hall Bruma – Bruma Castle – Lord’s Manor Cheydinhal – Cheydinhal Castle County Hall Imperial City - Talos Plaza - The Tiber Septim Hotel Leyawiin – Mages Guild Library Skingrad – Castle Skingrad Dining Hall I have rearranged “the furniture” in several of these cells to make room for the harpsichords. This mod will conflict with any mod(s) that alter any of the above cells. The harpsichords may be \"played\" by the player. On each of them is a sheet of music that when activated will give the player a choice of six classical pieces of harpsichord music to play: \"Concerto 16 - Allegro\" by J. S Bach \"Daphne\" by anonymous Dutch composer \"Rosemont\" by anonymous Dutch composer \"Le Moucheron\" by Francois Couperin \"Le Tic-Toc-Choc\" by Francois Couperin \"The Old Spagnoletta\" by Giles Farnaby Once selected the music will play until it is finished. Players should select only one music selection at a time and wait until the first piece is finished before selecting another piece, otherwise you will have cacophony (two or more songs playing at the same time). It is recommended that Players turn down the music volume in the Options Menu before playing any of the harpsichord music. NOTE: It is my personal recommendation that players completely disable the music for their games. The bonuses for doing so outweigh the drawbacks. First, players will receive a performance boost in the game with higher FPS rates and less shuttering. Second, the immersion factor increases greatly, creating a whole different gaming experience. Without the background music drowning out most of the ambient noises the game takes on a whole different feel. You get to hear how much work Bethesda really has put into the game. Finally, without the battle “radar” on your experience in the wilderness and dungeons becomes more intense as you will find yourself often being attacked with little or no warning, forcing you to listen for the slightest audio clues of impending danger. To disable the music open up your ini file (My Documents/My Games/Oblivion) Edit this statement: bmusicenabled=1 to bmusicenabled=0 This will give you extra performance because it completely turns off the music. Turning down the music slider only mutes it, but it still plays. There is a bench at each of the harpsichords that the player may sit down on while “playing” them. Unfortunately, there are no in-game animations to simulate the playing of the instrument. Note: The activation spot on the bench is rather small so players may have to move their cursor over it several times to activate it in order to sit down. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Requirements and Information ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This mod was made with the
