A blade fit only for the mightiest of all warriors, for it strikes with all the burning hatred of Oblivion itself. It has a soul. And it revels in the glory of battle, striking down enemies by the hundred. It has never been a tool of subtlety, stealth and cowardice are an insult to its strength. just as its soul would by no means bend, so should its form never have been bent. This sword demants to stand straight. This being said, I declare it insulting that two daedric artifacts should share the same model. The katana look suits the Ebony blade just fine for me, but I think Goldbrand deserves something totally different. Don\'t go all « samuraï were bastions of righteousness and honor » on me, because I know. That speech above is just to create an atmosphere. I\'d also add that it wasen\'t exactly part of the Bushido to pit humans against eachother just for the pleasure of watching them fight to the death... Anyway, this mod drastically changes the appearence of Goldbrand to turn it into a very pointy straight blade. It goes very well with the trust animation from Deadly Reflex! I have created a separate .esp that allows me to overwrite the inventory icon and thus adapt it to its new form, and this .esp (which I made primarly for myself) greatly increases Goldbrand\'s solidity (it wears down slower) and very slightly increases its speed (by one-tenth of a point). Those tweaks come along the inventory icon change ; you can decide between the \'\'tweaked version\'\' that gives a new icon and the change, or simply alter the sword\'s model itself (which does not require an ESP, therefore people with heavily modded games might prefer it). The file that tweaks the stats and changes the inventory icon is simply called \'\'Goldbrand Replacer\'\' The file that simply alters the model is called \'\'Goldbrand Replacer no Tweak\'\' The overall model has haunted me ever since I gazed upon the \'\'dagger fo defense\'\' in D&D\'s \'\'Complete Adventurer\'\' rulebook. Some might notice that it has a very high polycount compared to the simplicity of its shape. I agree, but it is necessary to allow the gold-silver reflection. Less vertices would\'ve given it a very, deeply, horribly despicable look.
