📋 About This Mod
This mod allows Dremora to use their generic vanilla dialogue lines made by Bethesda in the Shivering Isles. Originally, this was going to be part of a larger mod I was making, but it's not like that mod is the only one which adds Dremora NPCs into the Shivering Isles, so I made this standalone mod instead :)
technical explanation: the GenericDremora quest has the GetPlayerInSEWorld = 0 condition to prevent Dremora lines being said in SEWorld. This mod has a quest with GetPlayerInSEWorld = 1 that contains copies of the Dremoras' GREETING, Attack, Yield, Flee, PowerAttack, and Hit original Bethesda vanilla dialogue lines. I also gave them a GOODBYE line which existed in the original GenericDremora as placeholder text! I couldn't just remove the GetPlayerInSEWorld = 0 condition as it would create compatibility issues. Moreover, Wrye Bash has a function that reverses this exact change. So this method avoids both those problems!
There is an optional testing file. It adds a non-hostile Dremora in the Choosy Beggar in Bliss (SENSTheChoosyBeggar) that you can talk to in order to test whether or not the mod is working correctly.
INSTALLATION: This is just an .esp with simple resources, simply install the same way you install any other mod with new resources :) some mod managers will allow you to skip downloading voice files; DO NOT do that with this mod or else it won't work!
If you want to install manually, just make sure the .esp installed correctly and that the .lip and .mp3 files end up here:
Data\Sound\Voice\SE Generic Dremora Dialogue.esp\Dremora\M
COMPATIBILITY/LOAD ORDER: This mod shouldn't conflict with anything - just make sure it's loaded after the Shivering Isles DLC itself!
KNOWN BUGS/WARNINGS: This mod does not include female Dremora voices, as Bethesda did not create female Dremora dialogue lines.
CREDITS and LEGAL: Bethesda for creating the game and the CS, and for allowing us fans to create and share mods for their wonderful games! I am not affiliated with Bethesda in any way and am making no money off of this mod. Same thing applies to this mod as applies to any other mod - that I am not responsible for your computer or your save file so install responsibly!
Bethesda again for creating the original voice files - I took them straight from Oblivion - Voices1.bsa! I did not create these files, all I did was copy them and create an .esp in order for them to play properly :)
The TES4EDIT team for creating TES4EDIT - this mod was cleaned with TES4QuickAutoClean 4. 0. 3!

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Brings back the classic Dremora voice lines Bethesda originally recorded
- Tiny download and easy to install, no extra bells and whistles
- Still updated as of 2024, so it's not abandoned
⚠️ Cons
- Only 39 endorsements, so it's a niche fix that might not be widely tested
- Only affects Shivering Isles Dremora, not other Dremora in the base game
For Oblivion players who miss the authentic Dremora voice acting in the Shivering Isles and want a quick fix. Skip if you're looking for new dialogue or expanded content—this is purely a restoration mod.

- If you use a mod manager like Wrye Bash or OBMM, you can install it manually by dropping the files into your Data folder.
- Check your load order—this mod doesn't require any patches, but it's best to load it after other dialogue mods.
