📋 About This Mod
These files change how long essential NPCs will be rendered unconscious. I\'ve seen a 1 minute .esp and a 5 minute .esp. I decided to make a larger range of choices. The number at the end of an .esp\'s name represents the seconds the NPC will remain unconscious. The vanilla Oblivion setting is for 10 seconds. I have included variants for 1, 30, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180, 210, 240, 270, 300, 600, 900, and 1800 seconds. Use only one .esp at a time. Installation: Drop the .esp into your data folder or use OBMM. Do anything you want with this, as long as it\'s non-profit.
This mod adjusts the duration essential NPCs remain unconscious after being downed, offering variant timers. With 48 endorsements and 945 downloads, it's a niche gameplay tweak from 2008. The description is sparse, so details on specific timer options are limited.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Tiny download size, so it won't bloat your load order
- Simple concept that directly affects gameplay pacing
- 48 endorsements show some community appreciation
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2008, so likely outdated for modern game versions
- Sparse description leaves you guessing about exact timer values
- Compatibility risk with other mods that alter essential NPC behavior
This is for players who want to tweak how long essential NPCs stay down, maybe to make combat less forgiving or more realistic. If you're tired of essential NPCs popping up instantly, this could add a bit of tension. But if you're on a modern setup, you might need to test it carefully.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Check if your game version is compatible, as this mod is from 2008.
- Test with a single essential NPC to see the new unconscious time before relying on it.
