Elf Female Younger Voice Replacement

NOTICE --------- I did not create the original sound set, but I spent many hours hunting online for a suitable replacement and found this in a dark crevice of the internet. I figured it needed some new life with an upload on the nexus. I have given credit where credit is due but there is no one to properly contact. FILE DESCRIPTION ------------------ Elf Female Younger Voice Replacement 1. 0 & Optional 2. 0 file Fed up with the default elf female voice? This is a replacement for all on-hit & power attack sound files for elven females. Your elven goddess may be over 100 years old but she doesn\'t have to sound like it. If your tired of hearing your custom crafted goddess howl like a grandmother in pain? Then this is your solution. This in my opinion is a massive improvement to the default. VERSIONS ---------- Please Note that there are two versions available. The 1. 0 is the original file as I found it with original readme intact. This version has 22 sound files total. The 2. 0 version is edited. This edited version removes redundant duplicated sound files from the original. There is still some overlap between sounds used for hit and power attacks but there is less of it now. I\'ve also taken the liberty of removing two sound files: one was silly and the other borderline pornographic sounding. This leaves seven on-hit sounds and seven power attack sounds. I have no idea how oblivion.exe decides on the frequency of playing these files in game but from my play sessions their are enough files to not seem overly repetitious given the random nature of their use. Don\'t be surprised if you hear nothing every few swings or hits you take. Like I said I don\'t understand how it works. INSTALL ---------- Drop the \"sound\" folder into your Oblivion Data folder. The files will be placed in the following location: \\Oblivion\\Data\\sound\\voice\\oblivion.esm\\high elf\\f\\ NOTE: that the final folder is called \"High Elf\" which means it will play for all Elf females in game (PC & NPC), this is because Oblivion uses high elf for all elf characters. This means voices can be old lady but power attacks and hits will use this sound set. I am still working out how to make it work for the PC only. If you want to use it for another race, rename the folder to the race you intend to use it for. If you use it for a custom race you have to edit the custom race\'s esp in Tes4edit and change the VNAM-Voice female reference to reflect the folder name you created. Create the folder first so it is seen by Tes4edit. This is the only way I know right now to make this sound set play for the player only. Always make sure you have Archive Invalidation activated.
