📋 About This Mod
New ~ The house now has 1 Dark Guardian that patrols your house and a potion of cure vampirism that hopefully works now. The house no longer needs a key. Lighting was also adjusted to make it a bit darker in the house. A few other misc. changes were also made. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Old ~ This mod adds a house to Cheydinhal with a Dark Brotherhood feel to it. It has 3 Dark Guardians that patrol your house and a barrel for the vampires that has respawning blood potions and 1 potion to cure vampirism. The key to the house is next to the well of the Sanctuary.
A compact player home mod for Oblivion, adding a Dark Brotherhood-themed house with a patrolling Dark Guardian and a cure vampirism potion. Lighting was adjusted for a darker atmosphere, and the key requirement was removed. With 43 endorsements and last updated in 2008, it's a niche, older mod for fans of the faction.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Fits the Dark Brotherhood theme for roleplayers.
- Patrolling guardian adds a bit of life to the home.
- Cure vampirism potion is a handy convenience.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2008 — may have compatibility issues with modern Oblivion setups.
- Small mod with only 43 endorsements, so community feedback is limited.
For Oblivion players who want a small, themed player home that fits the Dark Brotherhood aesthetic. If you're a completionist or roleplayer looking for a cozy hideout with a guardian, this could be a nice touch. Skip if you want a fully featured house with lots of amenities.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since the mod is from 2008, consider using a mod manager like Oblivion Mod Manager (OBMM) or Wrye Bash to install and manage load order.
- Check if you have the Shivering Isles expansion, as some older mods assume it's installed; if not, you may need to adjust.
- If you're using the Steam version of Oblivion, make sure to apply the official patch to avoid compatibility issues with older mods.
