Bamboo grass for rainforest

This mod adds tall bamboo grass to Blackwood area of Cyrodiil, making rainforest thicker and giving more warm tropical feel. Be careful: you can easily get lost in the forest with this grass! :)

Two options available: 1. Mod version - with .esp This version adds bamboo grass to one of NoGrass ground textures. Bamboo will appear in Blackwood area only, but it can grow in unexpected places or through static objects. 2. Replacer version - mesh and texture without .esp This version replaces one of vanilla fern models with bamboo. You will see bamboo not only in Blackwood, because two more forest ground textures use this fern as well. It won't grow in cold snowy areas though. You can use both versions together if you want.

Optional archive contains alternative bamboo texture - desaturated and a bit darker than original one. Use it if original bamboo grass is too bright for your game settings.

RECOMMENDED MODS: The Natural World by discovery1 - beautiful grass replacer, the best one I've ever seen. Bamboo won't look good with vanilla grass, so using this replacer is strongly recommended. Groundcover for no grass textures by Elbethien - adds more little plants and flowers, giving really natural and immersive look to ground surface. Detailed Terrain by ChainsawXIV - changes ground texture transition shaders. Dramatically improves visual quality of the borders between different ground textures.

INSTALLATION: For Mod version Unpack contents of the archive and drop Meshes folder, Textures folder and BambooGrassMod.esp to your Oblivion/Data folder. Merge folders and replace files if needed. Activate BambooGrassMod.esp using WryeBash, OBMM or vanilla launcher. For Replacer version Unpack contents of the archive and drop Meshes folder and Textures folder to your Oblivion/Data folder. Merge folders and replace files if needed. Use Archive Invalidation function of Oblivion Mod Manager.
