📋 About This Mod
Name: Arrow Effects Version: 1. 1 Date: 12/01/2009 Category: Miscellaneous Requirements: Oblivion Script Extender (OBSE) v0017 Author: skinnynerd Source: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=25699 Description This Mod adds a shader to enchanted arrows, and light to missed light arrows. Light arrows have a light that follows them. It\'s range is based on the product of the magnitude and duration of the light effect. By default, the light following the arrow will disapear with the arrow. If want the effect to persist for longer, type at the console: set aaaArrowsQuestLight.autokillarrows to 1 The arrows will disappear, but the effect will stay. When this is set, you can cast the Kill All Light Arrows lesser power to turn off all light arrows(that are more than 3 seconds old) Other effects have shaders:
- []Fire looks like fire, frost looks like frost, shock looks like blue sparks. []Damage, Drain, Disintagrate, Absorb are red. []Soul Trap is purple. []Illusion has green smoke. []Light has a green glowing trail. []Anything else has a cool effect (You will have to find an arrow that does something else before you can see what it is...)
- []Bug fix where Turn Undead shader was applied to arrows w/o turn undead effects. Removed debug messages. Fixed error in readme.
- []Added absorb shader (red smoke); restrictions on the number of arrows in existance (and bug about picking up NPC-fired arrows) removed. Now requires OBSEv0017 (prev. versions required v0014)
- []Full Release -- Enchantments from bows added, FPS issue fixed.
- []Beta Release

- Only affects enchanted and light arrows, so limited scope.
For players who want a subtle visual upgrade to arrow effects without changing gameplay. Great for archery-focused characters who want to track missed shots. Skip if you're looking for major overhauls or modern compatibility.
