📋 About This Mod
This MOD adds a number of ancient and foriegn items to the region of Cryodiil to provide many new ways to enjoy dragging your heals through Oblivion, especially if you love to throw stuff! ARCANE ALCHEMY Using a device called a Fractionator, a skilled alchemist can create powerful poison potions. You are also likely to see a some of these potions for sale but they are quite uncommon. These potions may be thrown and have various (original) effects that make them tactical weapons of magical distraction (WMDs). Some may also be applied to weapons like common alchemy poisons. Fractionators can also be used to create poisoned food items, which may in turn be used as regular alchemy ingredients. ARCANE WEAPONRY A small number of powerful, specialized weapons are now available for purchase at particular merchants throughout Cyrodiil. Shaoken are highly crafted symmetrical throwing blades that are enchanted with a Djinn soul that is obliged by Shaoken Marksman Powers; powers that you can learn. They are equipped to the palm where they are (tastefully) concealed but ready to be thrown quickly or to hand-deflect a blade strike. Reputedly these artifacts were once for the restricted use of royal bodyguards and political assassins. Ninja Stars are a type of poisoned throwing star that were once favored by forgotten cults of dark assassins and soul collectors. It can be deadly just to touch one and they should always be handled using suitable protection. Ninja Stars were often magically bound to a particular pair of Ninja Gauntlets. The Mobius Glaive is a very mysterious artifact. Legend has it that it holds the power to bring down mountains, although many scoff at such stories and argue these were made up by merchants simply to justify a king\'s ransom for a modestly bejeweled ornament. Mortevacho\'s Hammer is a unique battle hammer that can be thrown or used as a regular (enchanted) warhammer. It has the unique ability that after striking something it will return immediately to the owner\'s hands and can even be bounced off of targets at close range for multiple strikes. The martial enchantments on this hammer also affect targets when thrown. Dwemer Throwing Axes are rare and less powerful arcane weapons but have a unique ability that causes them to fly back to their owner after being thrown. They will automatically re-equip when caught out of the air. Enchanted Darts are cheap throw-once weapons that can deliver a relatively large amount of damage on impact. In combination with a pair of Dartsman Bracers, different darts can be readied and thrown in quick succession. ARCANE SMITHING Evidently, some smithies once knew the secret of taking ordinary weapons, like knives and axes, and tempering them to fly smoothly and remain sharp. Such weapons may be thrown or used as regular melee weapons. It is a mystery as to what happened to all(?) these \'arcane weaponsmiths\' but their handiwork is still easy to find around Tamriel t

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- High download count (79,048) shows many players have tried it.
- Adds unique ancient and foreign items to spice up exploration.
- Focuses on throwing mechanics, which is a niche playstyle not many mods cater to.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2008 — likely outdated and may have compatibility issues with modern Oblivion setups.
- Description is very thin, offering little detail on what the items actually do.
- Low endorsement count (45) relative to downloads suggests mixed reception or lack of polish.
For Oblivion players who enjoy unconventional combat styles and want to add more throwing options to their arsenal. Also for collectors of obscure mods who appreciate ancient and foreign-themed items. Skip if you want a well-documented, modern overhaul — this is a dated, niche addition.
