This is a companion mod for Oblivion for PC by Aridale Noblebrook Belmont. It REQUIRES OBSE v0009 (http://obse.silverlock.org/) It also REQUIRES Shivering Isles expansion and the most upto date version of Oblivion. ============================================================================ HOW DO I USE IT? Extract the files in the zip file (where you found this readme) to your Oblivion\\Data folder Then enable the plugin in the Launcher of your Mod Manager of choice. ============================================================================ WHAT DOES IT DO? THIS IS A BETA VERSION! SOME THINGS MAY NOT WORK AS INTENDED OR BE COMPLETE!! It adds a dread wolf that will become your companion. See the file DWLoc.jpg in the zip file for the area where you should start looking for it. When the quest is complete it will be able to: It cant die. Its already dead. If it dies it will stay dead until YOU are out of combat. Then it will awaken after about 20sec with 1 health. It is not essential. Wait/Follow with a simple activate while not in combat Can be told to follow from any range with a \"whistle\" command called Dread Wolf Call. A lesser power. Will give the player a lesser power called Dread Wolf Command which does the following: Cast on a living target -> Attack that target. Cast on a corpse -> Eat that corpse. It DOES NOT REGEN HEALTH NORMALLY like other creatures. Its dead and as such it has no means to naturally heal and repair itself over time because its DEAD. To heal it has to feed on the corpses of the dead or be fed scraps of flesh. It sneaks when you sneak will warp to you if you get too far away and should only attack stuff if it gets attacked or somethin attacks you or you tell it to attack something. Note the should. Its set to lvl up with the player at a -1 lvl offset. About it feeding or feeding it scraps After the quest is complete youll be able to tell the dread wolf to eat ANY CORPSE IN THE GAME it doesnt matter if it was placed as dead in the CS or if you killed it or what kind of creature it was if you cast the command spell on it the dread wolf WILL EAT IT. This is your only warning. Loot it before you tell it to feed if you want anything that might be on it. Once its done eating the corpse will be disabled. Everytime it feeds you get a random number of \"Severed Fleshy Chunk\"s that number CAN be 0. The message you get when its done feeding indicates the number you get. To feed it scraps activate it in SNEAK MODE and if you have any chunks it will feed it one and it will be removed from your inventory. The health the dread wolf r
