ABOs OMOD Collection

ABO\'s OMOD Collection =============== This is my personal collection of OMODs I have created for mods that don\'t have omods or omod data available. I find OBMM\'s OMODS to be the easiest way to distribute, install, and manage mods. However many excellent mods are not distributed as OMODs or with omod conversion data. After spending hours of reading mod installation instructions and creating omods, I figured others could benefit from my efforts. I am mildly annoyed that this compilation needs to exist. There are plenty of excellent mods that must have taken people huge amounts of effort to create, and then fail to go the last 5% of making them easy to install. I guess the authors are burned out by the time it comes to packaging them... Ideally I want this collection to go away. I would love the authors of these mods to take all my omod conversion data and incorporate it into their distributions. Please, take it, use it, and you don\'t need to ask my permission. I only ask that you let me know when you do so I can remove your mod from this collection and replace it with a \"FILE REQUIREMENT\" link direct to your mod. Mod authors should feel free to let me know if they have any questions or concerns about the inclusion of their mod in this collection. I have no intention of annoying any one... Note that I have not made or contributed to any of these mods, I have simply repackaged them as omods. Where possible I have included in the omod conversion data the authors details, mod versions, available readme\'s and screenshots. I have also written installation scripts that attempt to automate complicated installation procedures, dependencies, and module load orders. I have avoided making any changes to the original distribution, except as required to make the omods installable and compatible. In some cases, for consistent naming amoung related mods, I have changed the omod name slightly from the original mod name. In some cases, I have made minor changes to to the names of some files. Any minor changes I have made will be described below. It should not matter much which order these are installed, but it is best to activate them in the the order listed. Important Utilities ------------------- OBMM - The Oblivion Mod Manager. Required to use these packages. OBSE - The Oblivion Script Extender. Required by many advanced mods. OBGE - The Oblivion Graphics Extender. Plugin for OBSE used by some mods for custom shaders. Available as an OMOD (yay!). TES4LODGen - Automatic Distant LOD generator.
