Warrior Companion Junah - Voiced Follower Mod

I wanted a follower I could talk to, so I made one. Junah is a Redguard warrior who wants to join the Fighters Guild, but needs to get some more experience, so she offers you her services as a follower. You can increase her disposition by talking to her - but if she doesn't like what you're saying, her disposition will go down. (For example, she usually likes jokes, but if your personality is too low, you might end up offending her instead.)

Junah is an attempt at creating my follower template for Oblivion Remastered. Not everything is as easy as in OG Oblivion - trading requires a workaround, and we still can't add any new voices - but overall, It Just Works. Junah doesn't have a deep story, since I was more interested in working out the technicalities for this one, but I did give her a personality (kinda tsundere) and a goal (joining the Fighters Guild) that you can help her achieve. In future mods, I hope to build on it... hopefully after someone has figured out a way of adding custom voices, because Skyrim has spoiled me and I want voiced mods, lol.

Speaking of voices, Junah has voiced responses to all her dialogues. These responses utilize existing dialogues, picked out to fit the situation. If you're interested in the technicalities, check the "For Modders" section below.

  []Sneaks when you sneak, draws when you draw, sits when you sit.

  []Can sell you lockpicks (or give them to you for free if you romance her) and give you a repair hammer if you don't have any.

  []You can dismiss her to the Bloated Float, Battlehorn Castle (after you've got it), any Fighters Guild office (after she's joined the Fighters Guild), or any city house you own (if you romanced her and fully furnished that house).

  INSTALLATION

  • []Install UE4SS TesSyncMapInjector and its prerequisites. If you already have it, ensure it's updated to the latest version.

    []Extract the dk_Junah.esp file and the Sync Map folder into your OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data folder.

    []Add dk_Junah.esp to the Plugins.txt file in the same folder. If you get crashes and you don't have the Deluxe edition of Oblivion Remastered, ensure that the altartdeluxe.esp file is at the very bottom of the plugin list.
