Various Imperial Legion Units and Equipment

The Empire's Legion rank system is strange in this game, it's as if they have both ranks and classes to identify each soldier. It's hard to find a reliable source on ranks inn the Elder Scrolls series, so I'm going to base them all Skyrim's. We are also going to utilize short swords as they are uncommon and resemble the gladius the most. This mod identifies each Legion member with a rank, each members of those ranks have different tiers and weapons within. For instance, Auxiliary may have steel weapons, and Quaestors may have fine steel etc. It also expands by adding specialist ranks such as Coast Guardsman and Praetorians. Auxiliary(Lvl. 30 Cap)

Fresh recruits into the Imperial Legion and soldiers often recruited from outside the provice. They haven't experienced true combat after their recruitment, but they are still trained soldiers. Their standard issue equipment consists of leathers, chain and plate. They bear steel shortswords and steel other weaponry depending on their role within the ranks.

Quaestor (Lvl. 35 Cap)

The Quaestor rank are soldiers who are trusted with chain and plate armor. They wield fine steel short swords and weapons. The Quaestors have experienced light combat with petty criminals, bandits or footpads within Cyrodiil. Don't under estimate these men, they are eager to please their superiors.

Jailor (Lvl. 35-40)

Jailors are soldiers who work within the prison of the Imperial City. They wield maces of varying quality depending on their rank and they wear chain with their legion armor. Prison guards are also jailors but who usually work deeper in the prison or guarding special prisoners.

Coast Guardsman (Lvl. 40)

The Imperial Legion Coast Guard are Legionary who work by ports, harbors, coastlines and otherwise bodies of water. They deal with piracy, smuggling and illegal operations of the sort. They are exceptional swordsman and wear leather and plate armor.
