❖ What is True Fatigue?
True Fatigue is a complete rethink of how stamina (fatigue) works in Oblivion Remastered.
-Not a gimmick.
-Not a simple debuff.
-Not “hardcore for the sake of being annoying.”
This mod exists to fix stamina.
Vanilla stamina in Oblivion Remastered has problems—big ones:
-Actions consume too much stamina (especially bows and heavy attacks)
-Running out of stamina has almost no real consequence
-Regeneration and base values are poorly balanced
-You can spam actions endlessly with little tactical thought
True Fatigue addresses all of that—systemically, coherently, and realistically.
❖ The Philosophy
In vanilla, stamina is mostly cosmetic.
You can run out… but nothing truly stops you.
In True Fatigue, stamina becomes:
-A real resource
-A decision-making tool
-A combat limiter
-A risk–reward mechanic
-You can still push yourself.
-You can still fight aggressively.
-But if you overextend, your body pays the price.
Just like it should.
❖ Core Changes (The Big Picture)
🔹 1. Rebalanced Base Stamina
The mod increases the player’s stamina pool.
Why?
Because vanilla stamina values are simply too low for how expensive actions are.
Increasing stamina gives breathing room—but only if you manage it well.
This is the foundation that allows everything else to work.
