Smooth Moves - Scroll Wheel Movement Speed

Overview:

Smooth Moves allows using the scroll wheel (or other keys) to gradually increase or decrease your character's speed. It gets the max run speed of your character, then sets an adjustable percentage of that speed as your current move speed. Smooth analog-like movement speed on keyboard and mouse is the most underrated, underappreciated, and underutilized features for greater immersion - but not by me!

With default settings, you use the scroll-wheel to raise and lower the percentage, 15% at a time. There are 7 speeds, ranging from 10% speed to 100% speed. Edit Smooth Moves/Scripts/main.lua to change these settings.

Full Features:

• []Allows gradual adjustment of movement speed via the scroll wheel.

  []Disables scroll-wheel camera controls (optional). Camera key still works!

  []Sets speed to maximum after sprinting, ensuring smooth getaways (optional).

  []Grabs the player base speed in-game, making it compatible with mods that edit the base speed.

  []Configurable keybinds.

  []Configurable minimum and maximum run speed.

  []Configurable speed adjustment step size.

  Known Issue: Speed adjustment works in many menus, which isn't ideal. Couldn't come up with menu detection that didn't cause hitching.

  Installation:

  Extract the Smooth Moves folder to the following directory, depending on your game version:

  • []Steam: OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64\UE4SS\Mods

  • GamePass: OblivionRemastered\Binaries\WinGDK\UE4SS\Mods
