1.  Silent Mouseover

This mod mutes the SFX of menu mouseover sound in game.

You are forced to hear the clicking sound all the time - main menu icons, inventory items, even when you loot a dead body even though you did nothing with your mouse. It just plays thousands of times repeatedly and it can be quite bothersome for many people, especially those with hyper-sensitive hearing capacity.

Hence, the mod.

Your game will feel a lot quieter than before. But once you get used to it, you can focus purely, solely and wholly on other interesting SFXs more without being inundated with or bombarded by redundant and unnecessary "tick" or "click" sound. Your eardrum matters.

2. Silent Map Slider

One of the most annoying SFXs for me was the map zoom scrolling sound. When you adjust the slider up and down, you get to hear the sound with every single zoom. I have a fast-scrolling mouse and it gets really loud, way too much, out of place, and bothersome.

50% version - You only hear it intermittently.

100% version - Enjoy the absolute silence. Once you get used to it, you will like it - the beauty of fast but quiet scrolling. XD

Installation

1. Mod manager : use Vortex or MO2

2. Manual: Unzip and navigate to ~mods folder and put 1 pak file inside...

SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Paks\~mods\

XboxGames\The Elder Scrolls IV- Oblivion Remastered\Content\OblivionRemastered\Content\Paks\~mods\

if you don't have ~mods folder, create one.

if you accidentally put the file in Paks folder, it works just fine.

even if you create a folder inside ~mods folder and put it in there, that's fine, too.

i.e. if you create a folder named electionis and put all my mods in there, no problem. It just works.

this is particularly useful if your mod list gets longer and takes time to recognize all different names and versions, preventing a possible confusion.
