Scutum Magnum Malditum - Scutum replacer for Legion Shield

INSTALLATION

The mod was made for the Steam version of the game using Vortex to install it. If it doesn't work with Vortex for you, then you've done something wrong but I'm happy to help you troubleshoot it. Just keep in mind that it DOES work via vortex and will work manually if put in the right location. All I ask is that you don't start off your comment with some hostile nonsense if you've not even made half an attempt to do it properly yourself (it's more common than you think).

If you complain about clipping (other than the hand), I will put you on my list of people to fling from a trebuchet.

Manual download:

Extract the archive and copy contents to the root of your game folder "Oblivion Remastered" (note the space between the words).

Make sure the folder LegionShieldScutum and its contents appear in:

Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Paks\~mods

You can also manually put the LegionScutumFolder or its contents in the Paks folder, if for whatever reason you wanted to. Both work:

Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Paks\

Vortex download:

Use the mod manager download button, install, enable, deploy and that's it!

Mod Organizer 2 download:

I think the same mod manager button works but not sure as I don't use it. I'm sure you'll figure it out, citizen.

This is my first full-fledged mod.

If the hand issues bother people enough then I'll make a version where the handle protrudes more but this really does defeat the point of the scutum and its weight balance, and it's the only way to get it to fit the hand without causing huge amounts of clipping.

No icon for the shield yet and it may be a bit before I add one seeing as the 1. 2 beta update broke the shield and many other mesh mods :(
