📋 About This Mod
This mod allows for precise item placement and decorating, making it easy to arrange objects in your home or any environment.
Description
V3r4Lh3AOMA
nfepvDhxoO4
This mod adds a user-friendly UI that lets you select any object in the world and precisely adjust its position (X, Y, Z) and rotation (RotX, RotY, RotZ). You can also disable gravity on selected objects for fine-tuned placement.
There are no restrictions on what can be selected, so you can even move static objects like chairs, etc.
However, only the locations of objects that are saved (books, swords, ect...) will persist after loading.

Unreal Engine Physics and Gravity
Game objects in Unreal Engine are composed of static meshes. If an object is complex, it can even have multiple static meshes!
When creating a game in Unreal Engine, developers decide in advance whether a static mesh will be movable or not. This allows for performance optimization — for example, a tree mesh can be set to static or stationary, while a plate might be movable so it can be interacted with by the player.
Once a static mesh is set to static or stationary, its mobility cannot be changed at runtime. That’s why my mod will tell you whether the object you've clicked is static/stationary or movable.
The only way to make a static object movable is to create a mod and change its mobility setting. this mod does not cover that subject.
Regarding gravity:
Movable static meshes can have gravity toggled on or off at runtime, but this setting won’t be saved after loading — it's baked into the mesh when the game is built.
It makes me a bit sad to have to explain this, but obviously:
- []You won’t be able to move an object along the Z-axis unless you turn off gravity.
- Similarly, most objects won’t rotate properly unless gravity is disabled.
Regarding collision:
Latest update adds a button to toggle collision on/off if you don't disable gravity with collision off, the object will go through the floor.
You can use the Reset button to recover from this mistake.
