Perfect Legionnaire

What? Why?

Ever wanted the Imperial Legion to look more like they did in good old TES 3 Morrowind??? Then you're at the right place! 'Perfect Legionnaire' replaces the bulky and rusty vanilla Legion armor with the awesome Roman style armors by CrunchyThunder - being the perfect base for this little mod here.

Details

In order to get the Legion's look even more in line with Morrowind (and to keep the Emperor's poor soldiers warm and protected), I have covered their naked legs and hands by replacing Crunchy's gloves and leg armor with iron greaves and gloves. Fits quite well I think! Additionally, I only use the Legion helmet without the Roman style plume on top, since that's not really Morrowind style either. Oh - and I replaced almost all the silver swords with fine steel shortswords, since that one looks almost like a gladius. And I also wanted to make silver feel more scarce and valuable. Only Palace Guard, Battle Mages and Guard Captains now wield silver swords.

Another loadout tweak: I removed bows from most of the Legionaries. There were just too many bows. I want a more distinct and specialized Legion. Now we have about 70 % melee soldiers with sword / gladius and shield - and about 30 % archers with bow and sword / gladius, minus the shield. Palace Guards wield silver longsword and shield. Battle Mages also wield silver longswords. Guard Captains wield silver claymores.

In addition to their bow, Imperial Forresters now also got a sword. No more attacking bears bare-handed when arrows are spent! Also removed the AI package that made them hunt, as this would have them prioritizing attacking deer even if the player gets attacked by trolls, bandits and the like nearby. Now they simply scout the area and help if someone gets attacked instead of running after deer in a silly killing frenzy. Additionally, this fixes a rather silly vanilla bug related to that hunting AI package that led to forresters getting attacked by nearby guards, legion members or even other Foresters, for attacking a deer. Installation

1. Install Cyrodiil Legionary. Pick 'CL_Legion' 1. 3 under 'Main Files'.

2. Optionally pick 'CL_Blades' 1. 3 under 'Main Files' if you want the Blades Armor replaced too (recommended).
