Mysterium Xarxes is Evil

Despite Martin's claims of how dangerous, corrupting and evil the Mysterium Xarxes is, the Hero of Kvatch remains unaffected by its power, regardless of how long it is carried. Mehrune's Dagon says, "Nah dawg, that's some bull**** right there."

After escaping the Lake Arrius Caverns with the Mysterium Xarxes, a new quest begins parallel with the "Dagon Shrine" quest. The longer the book is carried, the more dangerous it becomes. How you choose to handle Dagon's corruption will determine the outcome of the quest. Will you simply avoid its evil? Will you succumb to the corruption or perhaps even thrive on it? Will you endure it or die trying? Multiple endings leave the experience in your hands. No matter the outcome, you'll know the Mysterium Xarxes is Evil!

This is a simple quest that follows the player's internal and external struggles against Mehrunes Dagon's corruption which flows from the pages of the Mysterium Xarxes. There is no new locations, dialogue, or enemies. There is only the book, your journal, and a battle between good and evil that takes place within your soul. However, to be clear, there will be physical consequences.

Installation

Extract/drop plugin inside the OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data\ folder.

In the same folder, edit Plugins.txt to include the plugin's name somewhere below AltarESPLocal.esp and save.

Uninstallation

Delete plugin from the OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data\ folder.
