Cutlass Shortsword Conversion

This mod converts the Cutlass weapon class to be a type Shortsword, allowing them to scale with Agility instead of Strength, and using the quicker and more elegant shortsword moveset. Also includes Redwave!

The esp also adds a small nerf to the damage, lowers the weight, and alters the reach/speed values (not sure if they do anything) to bring them in line with the other shortswords. They sits right around Steel and Fine Steel, just like vanilla/

Requirements:

• []UE4SS for OblivionRemastered

  Installation:

  • []Download and install UE4SS, follow the instructions on the mod page.

    []Download the mod and extract it, then place the contents into your root folder (Usually just named "Oblivion Remastered").

    []Verify that the Cutlass Shortsword.esp file is in your Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data folder.

    []Verify that the Cutlass Shortsword folder and its contents are in the Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Paks\~mods folder.

    []Verify that the Cutlass Shoftsword folder and its contents are in your UE4SS/Mods folder

    []Open the plugins.txt file in Data folder and add Cutlass Shortsword.esp

    []That's all!

    Uninstallation:

    Just remove the files/folders that you added during the installation.

    Compatibility

    The esp edits the records for all cutlasses, so any mod that alters those will be incompatible, and will need a patch made. There is a patch for More Damage - Custom Combat Overhaul provided in the optional files.
