The Battle for Ignus (Operation Integral)

After the victories in the Heartland, BDF command moved outward to secure further assets captured by PALA forces. The first of which, was the Ignus Archipelago, a key strongpoint in the major vicinity, with multiple airbases and possible shoreline defense positions. As expected, this was next in line for BDF interests. Unfortunately, PALA units have set up a nearly impenetrable shoreline defense at Hogshead Airstrip. In response, BDF deployed their amphibious assault units and nearby troops stationed in the bases that have held out the initial offensive by PALA forces. PALA forces have the west of Feldspar secured, DO NOT APPROACH this area until ground units have destroyed the surrounding Anti-Air. In addition, we must fully secure the city Feldspar in order to continue our advances. ... Again, it is crucial that we win this battle, as we will need the archipelago to continue our advances. Any questions? Good. ATTENTION ALL UNITS: IRBMS ON STANDBY. AWAITING ORDERS FROM COMMAND. This mission will not be easy whatsoever, effectively nothing like part 1 in terms of difficulty. PALA WILL be a force to be reckoned with, and WILL do everything in it's power to defend it's positions. Mission length: ~2 hours with no player intervention.
