Similar optimizations are now integrated into the base game. If anything, this mod will interfere with performance after the update to the base game.
One of my favorite mods fixes a small but persistent nuisance: the stutter
that happens as you leave a planet's atmosphere. The original mod, Remove Lag When Leaving Planets, has not been updated for awhile. I did a bit of experimenting and rebuilt the mod, and I thought others might like to use it as well until the original gets updated.
All credit for figuring out the fix for this goes to dutch45612. I simply updated the work they already did.
