📋 About This Mod
zFlatbed Friction v6. 23
zFlatbed Friction greatly reduces the sliding and jostling of scrap in the Flatbed. Greatly reduces chance of exploding.
After extensive play testing and fine tuning, this new version is amazing. I just completed a cross country trip on a nasty, bumpy planet and didn't lose a thing. Stunning actually.
Driving cross country with a load of hazardous waste is difficult. The barrels in the flatbed want to roll around and bounce out. Excessive jostling can cause some to even explode. This mod increases the friction of the flatbed as well as the cargo. Rolling friction is greatly increased to reduce the risk of cargo becoming unstable due to damage.
Additionally, if a barrel falls off the truck, it rolls away more slowly and not as far.
You still need to drive carefully, but this mod should increase the success rate of your deliveries.
Known Issues:
This mod is of limited scope, changing only the physics entities for the flatbed and junk. It is distributed as an EXML patch. It should play nice with other mods that also employ proper EXML patch mods to this file.
The zFlatbed Friction folder should be placed in your No Man’s Sky\GAMEDATA\MODS folder along with all of your other mods.
This mod would not be possible without the use of the fabulous MBINcompiler.
I hope you find this mod useful and enjoy it. If you do like this mod, I ask that you consider taking a moment to endorse it. Endorsements are the only real feedback that is reliable.
