📋 About This Mod
Adds almost all items (products and substances) to Galactic Trade Network terminals on planets. Most significantly, this includes player built GTN terminals. You may think this is a little cheaty, but it's not. It's super duper cheaty. You probably shouldn't install it for that reason.
LESS CHEATY ALTERNATE POSTED! SEE BELOW!
The item list includes upgrade modules (Exosuit, craft, ship) available for base currency and a probably some plot items.
Here's what I took out:
I built this mod because I don't have time for or interest in grinding for resources. If you're playing this game for the rush of achievement after hours of incremental improvement, this mod will ruin the game for you.
SLIGHTLY LESS CHEATY VERSION: I have published a slightly less cheaty version that has all craftable items removed. That means if you can make it, you're going to have to. I did make an exception for all items that are normally in the planet shops. Those items that can possibly be present in the shop without mods will always be present with this mod. Taking out all craftable or broken items and guaranteeing all vanilla possible items puts 644 items always in the shop. The intention is to not obviate the crafting system in the game.
Here's how I built this mod:
Modifies DEFAULTREALITY. MBIN and will conflict with anything else that also does.
Adds nearly every item in No Man's Sky to Galactic Trade Network terminals, including player-built ones, so you can buy upgrade modules, resources, and more without grinding. Includes a 'slightly less cheaty' version that removes all craftable items and guarantees 644 vanilla shop items. For players who want instant access to everything.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- 225 endorsements and 5.4k downloads — this shortcut is community-approved.
- Author is upfront about how game-breaking it is and even offers a less cheaty version for those who still want crafting.
- Broken version included for tinkerers who want to test every item code.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated April 2020 — compatibility with current No Man's Sky versions is not guaranteed.
- Author warns this will ruin the game if you enjoy incremental progression and grinding.
- No install instructions provided by author; you'll need to know where to drop the mod files.
For No Man's Sky players who want to skip grinding and instantly buy any item from trade terminals, including player-built ones. Skip if you enjoy the sense of achievement from resource gathering and crafting. The included less cheaty version suits those who still want crafting but with guaranteed shop stock.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you want the honest cheat, install the main file; if you still want to craft, grab the slightly less cheaty version instead.
- Player-built GTN terminals will also stock the full list, so place them anywhere and buy what you need on the spot.
- For tinkerers, the Broken version in Miscellaneous files lets you buy every item code, but be ready to delete useless inventory items.
