📋 About This Mod
This mod changes Autonomous Mining Unit (AMU), Atmosphere Harvester and Oxygen Harvester to produce a full stack of 9999 in 15 seconds, you can also change the amount or time through the LUA file provided with the mod.
If you don't like to use Extractors or prefer to use AMU for aesthetic reasons (since they actually need to be on top of a Deposit in order to mine), but always felt bad for it being too slow and too little resources for the amount of work, you might wanna give this mod a shot.
Installing Mods
Follow these steps to install mods.
-
[]Browse to No Man's Sky\GAMEDATA.
[
]Create a folder named MODS.[]Place the mod folder containing the loose files into the MODS folder (they have to be in the MODS folder itself and not in any subfolder, and no loose files should be inside the MODS folder).
[]Start the game and wait for the splash screen to disappear.
- If done correctly the game will display a warning just before displaying the selection of saved games.

DISCLAIMER
Like the Refiner, AMU (and probably the other two as well) has a bug where while it's working if you teleport away, to a different place or system, when you come back to it, it will be empty, both the resources it was mining and the fuel will be gone. That's a old bug that to this day isn't fixed, it's not guaranteed to happen, but it happens from time to time, so in case it happens with you, it's not the mod's fault.
And that's not the only bug it has either, if you have AMUs on top of different deposits on the same planet (eg. one on Gold and one on Copper), sometimes it can bug and start gathering mineral from a different resource than the one you're on top of (AMU on top of Gold getting Copper instead). Maybe one day Hello Games will fix it.
Overclocked Industry boosts Autonomous Mining, Atmosphere Harvester, and Oxygen Harvester to harvest a full stack of 9999 in 15 seconds, with configurable amount and time via LUA script. A niche cheat mod for Space Engineers players who want faster resource gathering.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge time-saver for resource grinding (195 endorsements).
- Configurable via LUA script — you can tweak to your liking.
- Simple cheat mod that does exactly what it says.
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects three block types — other harvesters untouched.
- Requires manual LUA editing for configuration, not for casual users.
- Last updated June 2026 — may need checking for current game version compatibility.
For Space Engineers players who hate waiting for mining and harvesting. Perfect for creative builders or survival players who want to skip the grind. Skip if you prefer vanilla balance or want a more comprehensive cheat mod.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have the LUA script editor available in-game to tweak the values.
- Test the mod on a single-player world first to see if the 15-second harvest feels right.
- If you're on a server, check with the admin before using this mod — it might be considered unfair.
