📋 About This Mod
DEPRECATED Changes to the inventory system have made these mods obsolete
A set of mods, that set ships, exocraft, and freighters to 48 slots and multitools to 24. It's done as four separate scripts so you can mix and match what you want. It doesn't include any spawn table changes because I've read that some of those changes change whether certain unique ships spawn.
I tried several things to try to get 48 slot multitools, but the game seems to always crash. You can change the multitool slots with the Save Editor.
Now includes Cargo slots, Sail ships, and makes multitools expandable to 48 slots using the in-game terminal.
Only edits `METADATA\REALITY\TABLES\INVENTORYTABLE. MBIN`. The individual mods will conflict with each other and the combined mod will conflict with anything else that modifies that file. You can use AMUMSS to merge the parts you want or merge/patch them with other mods that modify INVENTORYTABLE. MBIN using the Lua files.
I built the 3. 68 and newer versions using NMS Mod Builder. No LUA files are in the PAK, only the cs scripts and MBIN. Using this tool can also merge any mods with .cs scripts (quite a few are included with the tool).
Bladehawke's Inventory Slot Tweaks is a deprecated set of No Man's Sky mods that set ships, exocraft, and freighters to 48 slots and multitools to 24, with separate scripts for mixing. It includes cargo slots, sail ships, and expandable multitools to 48 via in-game terminal. Note: mod is obsolete due to inventory system changes.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Flexible modular design lets you pick exactly which inventory tweaks you want
- Community-tested with 275 endorsements and over 7k downloads
- Includes a warning about cost and compatibility, showing author cares about player experience
⚠️ Cons
- Deprecated and obsolete due to inventory system changes — won't work with current game versions
- Individual mods conflict with each other; combined mod conflicts with any other mod touching INVENTORYTABLE.MBIN
- No LUA files in PAK, so merging requires AMUMSS or NMS Mod Builder, which may be complex for casual modders
For No Man's Sky players who want max inventory slots on ships, exocraft, and freighters without editing save files. Skip if you're on a recent game version, as this mod is deprecated and won't work. Also skip if you prefer balanced gameplay, since max slots make everything expensive.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since the mod is deprecated, check your game version before installing — it may not work on current builds.
- Use AMUMSS to merge the individual scripts if you want only some tweaks, as the combined mod conflicts with other inventory mods.
- Be prepared for high costs when buying ships or multitools after installing, as max slots increase prices significantly.
