Smart Weapon Correction

Using Style Shift automatically keeps your weapon set number consistent across styles.

It remembers your current style and marks your current weapon set number as the next switch target.

If the character is moving, applying the reservation is delayed for up to 10 seconds.

This prevents movement stutter when switching weapons while weapon drawn.

It also minimizes macro interference during combat, since continuously holding the left stick for 10 seconds usually means you are in a high-intensity situation.

If the reservation is delayed due to movement and the current weapon set number does not match the switch target,

a Red Box appears around the weapon slot indicator and the current weapon icon.

If the weapon set number already matches the switch target after a Style Shift, the reservation is canceled.

Manually changing your weapon cancels the reservation.

Switching back to the original style cancels the reservation.

If the combat UI is not visible for more than 1 second, the reservation is canceled. This accounts for situations such as opening the map or entering menus.

After using Style Shift, you don’t need to worry about weapon switching.

If a Red Box appears, simply stop moving briefly or switch the weapon manually.

This reduces cognitive load and helps you stay focused on combat.

Crouch Cancel

Among the in-game equipped skills, you can cancel the current motion by using a Summoning Seal through the 'The More the Merrier' skill.

However, this consumes one Summoning Seal each time.

There is a way to prevent this consumption by using a command called Crouch Cancel.

Crouch Cancel: Motion → Use Summoning Seal → Move forward while crouching → Action

Pressing R1+L3 will automatically perform the above command.

The following actions can be used as the Action:

(Jump, Quick Attack, Strong Attack, Sheathe/Draw, Ninjutsu 1/2/3, Combo Martial Arts 1/2, Living Artifact)

Among these, Sheathe/Draw was chosen to implement Crouch Cancel, as it has no stamina cost and has minimal impact on the flow of combat.

Due to implementation limitations, a stance change is performed after weapon draw.

There is a control overlap where the Samurai stance change input and the Ninjutsu input share the same button.

However, as shown in 2.gif, pressing the Ninjutsu input in Ninja style does not affect the last used stance in Samurai style.

Equip the 'The More the Merrier' skill.

Place a Summoning Seal in the first(top) slot of an item shortcut set, and ensure that the set is currently selected.

Press R1+L3 to perform Crouch Cancel.

Possible to specify the Summoning Seal at a location other than First(Top) via the config.ini file.

Bidirectional Item Shortcut Sets Cycling

Press R1+DPadUp to cycle through the item shortcut sets to the right.

Hold R1+DPadUp to move to the previous item shortcut set.

Hold Style Aiming for Toggle Mode

Perform Input Compensation to make Toggle-style Ranged Aiming Mode behave like Hold-style.

Alternative Living Artifact Method

Quickly double-press the R2 to activate Living Artifact.

If already in Living Artifact state, a special attack will be triggered.
