Nioh3 Status Overlay

Desription

Displays buffs and debuffs for your character and the currently locked-on enemy: status icon, name, available stack count, and remaining time.

The source code for this mod was generated primarily using AI tools based on my specifications. I handled the feature design, testing, debugging, compatibility checks, and final release.

DLL Loader Compatibility

This mod includes its own  dinput8.dll loader implementation.

The loader's plugin API is designed to be compatible with the API convention introduced by DLL Plugin Loader by Kassent:

The implementation included in this mod was written independently and does not contain or redistribute source code, binaries, or other assets from DLL Plugin Loader.

The compatible API design was intentionally retained so that plugins originally developed around the same API convention may potentially continue to work with this loader on newer versions of Nioh 3.

However, compatibility with third-party plugins has not been comprehensively tested, so compatibility with every existing DLL Plugin Loader plugin is not guaranteed.

This loader is currently bundled with this mod because it is required for the included plugin to function. I may consider releasing it separately in the future if broader compatibility is confirmed.

Installation instructions

1. Exit the game completely.

2. If that folder already contains dinput8.dll, back it up and move it out first. Only one DLL with that name can be used in the game folder.

3. Extract the status overlay download and copy its entire plugins folder next to Nioh3.exe.

Language Settings

This mod currently supports Chinese and English only.

The default language is Chinese.

To change the language, open:

plugins/Nioh3StatusOverlay.iniThen modify the language setting:

  []language=en-US — English[/]

Save the file and restart the game for the changes to take effect.
