Restored Windmill Shuriken

Requires Mods Loader or NM Mod!

The windmill shuriken works again.

Finally.

Extract the zip and move the two . DAT files into your mods folder to enable the weapon to function. Zip zang zoom, that's it.

However, there is no way to pick it up in-game like you can in vanilla 2, so you'll have to add it yourself--which is why I included a save file for your reference.

Offset 14A4 is the beginning of Ryu's inventory with the Dragon Sword, (01 00 01 00). Regarding this save specifically, you will also see the following:

• []00 00 01 00 Unknown; auto-populated, do not remove

  []0A 00 01 00 Talisman of Rebirth

  []94 00 01 00 Unknown; auto-populated, do not remove

  []05 00 01 00 Shuriken

  []06 00 01 00 Art of Inferno

  []22 00 01 00 Windmill Shuriken

  []23 00 01 00 Explosive Shuriken

  []93 00 01 00 Fiend's Bane Bow

If you want to add the windmill to another save, open your . DAT in an editor, go to offset 14A4 and scrub through to the end of your inventory. Pay close attention to the values and make sure you are not on the last byte of another item before attempting to add something else.
