📋 About This Mod
Evgeshajk's 4K Texture Pack looks fantastic, but it was too large for my GPU to handle, so I created this "lite" pack by taking all of the textures from it that match file names found in the popular HD Texture Pack, resizing some to save space/memory, then adding some more until my GPU could just barely handle it, so this doesn't replace all of the same textures that the main pack does, just enough to look better in most cases for weaker cards.
Should work on 8GB and 12GB cards, though your mileage may vary on 8GB cards and you will experience stutters and occasionally slow load times. You may also need to tweak other graphic settings to run smoothly.
I would mirror this file elsewhere for faster downloads and a more stable connection than Nexus' shitty backend, but unfortunately I don't think I am allowed to according to the permissions of the original texture pack upload.
All credit goes to Evgeshajk (and the AI model) for the AI-enhanced textures. If your GPU can handle it, I recommend downloading that version. Downloading this "lite" version does net him some donation points too.
Installation:
This has been tested with WAX. I don't use Special K anymore because it is terrible to use.
Place the extracted textures folder into NieRAutomata/wax/mods/texturepacks/ (create the texturepacks directory)
