Description
Based on the 4K texture pack by Evgeshajk, this Reack cuts out unnecessary assets, while making it WAX compatible.
Removed included . DLL (grab WAX from the nexus)
Removed meshes
Removed normal map files
Removed specular map files
Removed bump map files
Removed small textures, such as confetti
Removed fully transparent files
Removed pure gradient files
Requirements
Requires WAX. Tested on Version 0. 2. 1
This texture pack is HEAVY
Testing showed VRAM usage between 10-14GB. 16GB GPUs should be okay to run this pack.
If using WAX 0. 2. 1, the game will take a few minutes to open while it loads the textures into RAM. This does not occur with WAX 3 betas, however these are more unstable and may crash. Your milage may vary.
Installation
Download and Unpack all 8 parts. Copy folder 0_AI4K_Reacked from each part into folder %steaminstall%\NieRAutomata\WAX\mods
Your path will look like this:
%steaminstall%\NieRAutomata\WAX\mods\0_AI4K_Reacked\textures\*.dds
