Zion Trail - Integrated

Zion Trail by Hwiccian is one of the first large-scale quest mods I experienced when I got back into playing this game after a few years, and its worldspace really captured what I wanted from a quest mod of this type. It will forever hold a place in my heart as one of my favorites. I would not have started New Vegas modding as a hobby without it, as my first uploaded mod for this game was a patch for Zion Trail to make it work with various weather mods.

Part of that experience was a mod called "Yet Another Zion Trail Tweaks", which has unfortunately since been hidden by the author. That mod allowed you to actually travel the Zion Trail, and begin the Honest Hearts DLC. Since that mod has not been brought back, I decided to make my own (with a few extra goodies)!

Features:

• []You are now able to travel the Zion Trail to the Honest Hearts DLC!

  []Armor added by Zion Trail is now distributed to NPCs in the base game. (Can be disabled via the INI)

  []Forwards some YUP (and YUPTTW) fixes.

  []Contains a patch for Desert Natural Weathers (NV and TTW) already built-in.

  []Built-in compatibility for various Delayed DLC mods, including Goodies (recommended), Leveled DLC Delay, and Delay DLC Redux.

  []Since Zion Trail has no indicator on where to start, a new Radio Broadcast can be heard once you reach level 10, in the north western part of the map (about Westside). This is intended to lead you to the first encounter with the Zion Trail to get you started.

  New Happy Trails Caravan Encounter:

  The Northern Passage found in the base game has once again collapsed, and is no longer accessible (this is similar to what would happen if Honest Hearts is not loaded). In order to access the Honest Hearts DLC, you will now be forced to walk the Zion Trail.

  As you approach Nesbitt Lake near the end of the Zion Trail, you'll begin to hear a battle nearby. Continuing along the trail, you'll eventually come across the Happy Trails Caravan, finishing off a group of White Legs that had attacked them. These enemies are an encounter that was found in Zion Trail originally, and has been repurposed. As you get closer, Jed Masterson will begin to talk to you about possibly joining with the Caravan as a new guard and guide due to your Pip-Boy.

  Additional Notes regarding the new encounter:

  []The Happy Trails radio broadcast is disabled while in the Wasteland.

  []The Weight Limit is still enforced, and there is an empty "grave" in front of Jed to store any equipment.
