A tiny quality-of-life mod for Fallout: New Vegas that removes Veronica's hood from her inventory, letting her wear other headgear without the default hood clipping. Simple, effective, and popular with 2,145 endorsements, though it hasn't been updated since 2012.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 2,145 endorsements and nearly 100k downloads
- Does exactly what it says—no bloat, just removes the hood
- Works with any mod that doesn't alter Veronica's outfit
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2012—might have issues with newer mods or game patches
- Only affects Veronica's default outfit; if you use a replacer, this may not work
- No instructions or compatibility notes from the author
For Fallout: New Vegas players who want Veronica to wear a hat or helmet without the hood clipping through. Also for those who just prefer her without the hood for aesthetic reasons. Skip if you use a full companion overhaul that already changes her outfit.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Place the .esp in your Data folder and enable it in your mod manager or launcher.
- If you use a mod that changes Veronica's outfit, load this mod after it to ensure the hood is removed.
- This mod doesn't affect gameplay, so it's safe to add or remove mid-playthrough.
