📋 About This Mod

Tribal tattoos TYPE3 - Now In Super Highrez 4096px Contents This is a modder's resource and NOT a ready-for-use mod, as such, it requires a working installation of Photoshop, NVIDIA Plug-ins for Photoshop and some minor (really minor) knowledge of handling layers in Photoshop. Do not despair, detailed instructions are included farther down.

The file is a Photoshop PSD file, containing the tattoos in different layers so you can easily apply whichever of them you like to the skin of your choice.

This is a free resource. you can do with it what will without my permission. mentioning my name would be nice, crediting the original authors' work, which this is derived from is a must.

Changes: Everything in super clear highrez 4096px. Added a dew more tattoos.

Compatibility: Every mod based on TYPE3. Those I'm familiar with are TYPE V, skinny, and TYPE3M.

Credits dimon99 and Backsteppo for the TYPE3 Body Rplacer. Jeremy Eckhart, jakofheartz, commiealex, Tanesh, Glyph, SLRdesign and BlueEyesFairy, AgaricGreyWolf, BlakeWise, Chazman, NightmareVamp, CommieAlex and VectorVillain for their awesome tattoo designs.

How To Apply The Tattoos To A Skin 1. Have a working installation of Photoshop and NVIDIA Plug-ins for Photoshop. I hear you can do the same with Gimp and Paint. Net (both are free) but I haven't tested those myself. 2. Open the tattoos psd and the skin dds file together in Photoshop. 3. If needed, resize the tattoos file to match the skin (right-click on the file's title and choose 'Image size'). 4. Focus on the skin file, select everything (press ctrl+A), then copy it (press ctrl+C). 5. Focus on the tattoos file then paste what you copied (press ctrl+V). 6. Open the Layers dialog (press F7), then choose the Layers tab in it. 7. You should see the different tattoos, grouped together in folders and each in it's own layer and your newly added skin above. 8. In the Layers dialog, drag the skin layer to the bottom of the list so the tattoos will show above it. 9. Still in the Layers dialog, display or hide whatever tattoos you want by toggling the layer visibility button (the 'eye' icon). 10. Save your work (press ctrl+shift+S) as a DDS type. choose the first type option in the NVidia save dialog (DXT1 | no alpha) and 'Generate MIP maps' on the right. 11. All done!!
