📋 About This Mod

UPDATE: Found a way to manually disable the PipBoy's ''overbright'' mode, thanks to a simple function called ResetPipBoyManager. The PipBoy no longer appears permanently overbright when using a helmet with Enhanced Vision modes.

Additionally, I've made a ''Full Version'' of the mod which combines the DLC patches and the base version into one file. This is now the main version of the mod. If you are missing one or more of the Honest Hearts, Lonesome Road, or Old World Blues DLCs then you will need to use the ''Base Game Only'' version found in the Optional Files section, along with the appropriate DLC patch(es). ----------

This is another one of those mods where I took an idea and just ran with it, perhaps to far. I'll let you be the judge.

A little while ago I made a simple mod to add a sort of Infrared Vision Enhancement to the Ranger Helmet. I mean, there has to be a reason why the eyepieces are red, right? Anyway, I had some success with that, but it got me thinking: why stop there? If the Ranger Helmet has Enhanced Vision, why not other things like Power Armor Helmets?

The end result is that I've added five different types of Vision Enhancement to a variety of helmet-type headwear. Not only that, the Vision Enhancement can be TOGGLED, as in turned on and off, at will. This is done by activating the Pip-Boy Light; if you are wearing an Enhanced Vision-equipped helmet, doing so will activate the helmet rather than your Pip-Boy Light.

In general, I covered everything that looked like it could have some vision enhancement stuff crammed in there, so mostly that means Power Armor Helmets. I differentiated them into five basic types and gave each a slightly different enhancement. These are, in rough order of quality:

ENCLAVE VISION - Enclave Power Helmet - Enclave Shocktrooper Helmet - Gannon Family Tesla Helmet - Remnants Power Helmet - Remnants Tesla Helmet - Tesla Helmet

T-51B VISION - Chinese Stealth Armor - Chinese Stealth Helmet - Desert Ranger Combat Helmet+ - T-51b Power Helmet

RANGER VISION - Advanced Riot Gear Helmet+ - DamWar Combat Ranger Helm - Elite Riot Gear Helmet+ - Ranger Helmet - Riot Gear Helmet+

T-45D VISION - All-Purpose Science Suit - Broken Power Helmet - DamWar Enclave Scientist Outfit - Enclave Scientist Outfit - Hazmat Darklight Cowl+ - Salvaged Power Helmet - T-45d Power Helmet

LIGHTAMP VISION - Combat Helmet, Reinforced - Combat Helmet, Reinforced Mark 2 - Lobotomite Goggles+ - Lobotomite Mask and Goggles+

These items are not normally found/usable in the game, but I've included them for those us
