THE TOWN OF VICE - A GOMORRAH OVERHAUL

MOD SYNOPSIS:

Gomorrah, the old biblical town of vice. A place of debauchery and a den of sin.

I had originally thought Gomorrah wasn't all that bad and empty in the game, it was still better than the Ultra-Luxe(smh). I decided to pay Gomorrah a visit on my latest playthrough and actually scrutinize it and actually explore every nook and cranny of it and boy was I wrong. Turns out it was different than how I remember it. Turns out, it was pretty bad.

It was, like a lot of places in NV, empty and half baked. Like the Luxe, It could use some sprucing up too. The Omertas were also a disappointment. They were supposed to represent the italian mafia and prohibition era gangsters, but they weren't at all classy or well.... badass. They wore generic tan 'Mister Burke' suits and carried combat knives by gum! but not anymore.

MOD FEATURES:

OVERHAULED OMERTAS:

The Omertas will now be closer to their inspiration, the sicilian mafia. The mob ruled Vegas, and now the Omertas have the same thing in mind. The Omertas now wear unique suits compared to other wastelanders. The new suits are similar to the ones worn by prohibition era gangsters and the italian mafia, black with stripes. They now also use Tommy guns like they should have. The Tommy guns are slightly weaker in terms of stats and condition compared to the ones found in Honest hearts and have drum mags by default for that mafia flavour. They also use the default riot shotguns and 44 revolvers because they were also weapons of choice of the mobsters of old.

They also won't use combat knives and instead will use unique switchblades which do equal damage to combat knives (this was mainly a cosmetic change). They will also use colt M1911 pistols like the mobsters of old Vegas.

I've also planned to add some notes and terminals to flesh out the Omertas a little more. Think Martin Scorsese's 'Casino' and the 'The Godfather Part II'. Maybe some notes about some schmucks who stole or double crossed the families and wound up in freshly dug holes in the wasteland.

The mod adds new lore friendly posters, mostly pin ups. They actually look old and worn and are not pristine. Check the images to get an idea.
