The Hills Have Spore Plants

This mod started as a modified version of the mod Spore Plants in the Wasteland with a focus on integrating spore plants at elevated areas in remote desert regions like cliffsides, mountains, and hills.

FEATURES

Spore plants have been sprouting in new regions recently. Both spore plants and giant spore plants now often occupy hillsides or mountain paths. Those planning on visiting the hills should be warned, it seems giant spore plants occupy these areas much more than the weaker, normal-sized spore plants. All spore plants occupying mountains or hillsides seem to be much tougher and stronger.

INSTALLATION

Choose only one version to install. Install the latest main file. For manual installation, extract the file to your game’s data folder. For a mod manager installation, install the file with your preferred mod manager.

COMPATIBILITY

Mods that add creatures to the hill and mountain spawn lists will affect the chance of spore plant encounters. This can be solved by duplicating lines in the text file. Spore plants rarely spawn near roads or flat areas.

RECOMMENDED

This mod is heavily recommended to be played with Spore Plant Melee Attack and Tweaks for better spore plant combat. Users of this mod my also enjoy my other spore plant mod New Spore Plant Species.

This mod uses an asset from the mod Spore Plants in the Wasteland and takes inspiration from spore plant encounters in Fallout 2.
