The Darkened Luxury - Ultra-Luxe Overhaul by Kungfubellydancer -------------------- version 1. 0 Description ----------- I was vastly disappointed by the interior design of the Ultra-luxe, so I took it upon myself to change it. Walking into this place, there are three things it reminds me of: Hannibal, Phantom of the Opera, and Eyes Wide Shut. However, the design does not reflect the essence of these films/stories/broadways whatsoever. The Ultra-Luxe will now take on a more classic Gothic Romance air. Most interiors will be retextured, and the White Glove outfits will be changed as well for a more dramatic feel. Also, I didn\'t play blackjack for three hours just so I could earn a tiny little bedroom; the new Bon Vivant suite will be well worth the wait. It will be similar to Gunderson\'s penthouse suite, but darkened, and suited for use by the player. In essence, the Ultra-luxe will be a darker and more sinister place than Bethesda gave them credit for. Version 1. 0 comes with the following features: -Completely redone Casino and Gourmand interiors -Redone exterior -New apparel for White Glove Attire, so that it wasn\'t the same as Formal Wear. Also available are two variant color schemes, monochrome(grey) and blue, if red doesn\'t suit you. See installation below. Future Versions will come with: -Remainder of hotel redone -LOD and distant glow redone -New music, such as Phantom of the Opera and Hans Zimmer chorales -Actual white gloves for the NPC\'s to wear. COMING SOON - Optional Mod: -A Bon Vivant Suite well-worth the 15,000 caps you have to earn in order to win it. Errors/Glitches --------------- None known yet Incompatibilities ----------------- -Naturally, this mod will be incompatible with any mod that changes the interior and exterior design of the Ultra-Luxe. It should be compatible with mods that add NPC\'s or vendors, etc, but do not actually change the interior. -This mod will not interfere with custom mods that use the original Ultra-Luxe models. The new ones have been saved as new model id\'s. So don\'t worry about your custom hotel turning dark red and black; it will not. Installation ------------ Simply copy the files into your \\fallout new vegas directory. Make sure Darkened Luxury loads after other mods that change Ultra-Luxe. If you want to install one of the optional variants, you MUST download the main and install it FIRST, then install the variant pack. Be sure to overwrite all files when prompted.
