The Frontier is a great mod, but undoubtedly it has suffered from questionable choices of the developers. This mod is a part of the bigger WIP The Frontier: Re-Cut project, which aims to fix glaring issues of The Frontier, make the player experience more immersive and less linear.
The Frontier: Re-Cut - Map module aims to fix issues with incomprehensibility of Pip-Boy map and general lack of navigation tips. That is achieved by:
- Change of a map to a new high-contrast map with clear indication of roads, based off of the map in NCR headquarters.
- Making the NCR headquarters map interactive, marking a few key locations on your Pip-Boy.
