📋 About This Mod
Adds Fallout 4 Style animations for the player and companions when you heal them using Vanilla companion Wheel, JIP CCC, or Custom Hotkey. Framework for adding unique animations to different companions and creature types.
REQUIREMENTS
-
[]JIP LN NVSE Plugin - Required
[
]ShowOff xNVSE Plugin - Required[]JohnnyGuitar NVSE - Required
[]lStewieAl's Tweaks and Engine Fixes - Required to set Robot Companions to be healed with Scrap Metal
[]kNVSE Animation Plugin - Required
-
[]JIP Clean Companions Command and Control Labels - Removes the annoying black box and help text from JIP CCC so you can have clean labels on the CCC bar
[]Hardcore NPC Stimpak Fix - Fixes vanilla companion wheel bug that allows you to stimpak companions indefinitely even when they have full health.
[]More healing reactions for companions - For proper healing reactions to always play
- Hit 'n Darian - JIP Companion Command Animations - Optional but HIGHLY recommended for proper JIP CCC integration. Currently does not support Robot companions but an update in the near future should solve that. This mod relies on the event registration from H&D_CCC for proper CCC support. Will technically work without it but its not recommended.
Make sure you have all the requirements. Use Vanilla companion Wheel, JIP CCC menu, or press the hotkey (K by default) to play stim style animation. Robot companions are not currently supported properly by JIP but Hit 'n Darian - JIP Companion Command Animations should be updated to support them soon. Use Hotkey or Vanilla Wheel until then.
Animators can place Animations in EDID or Type folder path. Should be self explanatory but DM me if needed.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 301 endorsements and over 72k downloads
- ESPless means no plugin slot usage, perfect for load order management
- Works with multiple input methods: wheel, JIP CCC, and hotkeys
⚠️ Cons
- Requires JIP CCC for full functionality, which may be an extra dependency
- Only affects companions, not the player character
- Animation style may not match the original game's aesthetic for purists
For Fallout New Vegas players who want a more modern, Fallout 4 style feel when healing companions. Great for those who use the companion wheel or JIP CCC and want seamless integration. Skip if you prefer the original animations or don't use companions often.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you use the vanilla companion wheel, the mod works out of the box; for hotkey support, bind a key in the mod's settings.
- Since it's ESPless, just drop the files into your Data folder or use a mod manager; no need to activate a plugin.
- Make sure JIP CCC is installed and up to date to avoid any compatibility issues with the hotkey feature.
