📋 About This Mod

Simply adds a perk by the name of "Steady Hands" that requires level 10 (Optionally level 20) + 100 guns, or 100 energy weapons.

Weapon sway always annoyed me, so I made a fix in the GECK. It's just a simple .esp file looking for a home in a New Vegas data folder

Fun fact: There is already a perk that does this in the game files, but is set to hidden. I left that reference unchanged and simply added an identical playable version with some requirements since it's a powerful perk. It's essentially perma-steady, so enjoy pinpoint accuracy and zero sway, for good!

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

Adds a new perk called 'Steady Hands' that completely removes weapon spread and sway, making all shots perfectly accurate. A simple gameplay tweak for players who want to eliminate recoil and sway mechanics, with 268 endorsements and last updated in April 2021.

✨ Key Features

Adds a new perk named 'Steady Hands' to the game.
Nullifies all weapon spread, making shots perfectly accurate.
Eliminates all weapon sway, improving stability.
Simple gameplay effect with no additional features or dependencies.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Directly addresses a common frustration—no more random spread or sway ruining your aim.
  • Tiny mod with a focused purpose; 268 endorsements show it's appreciated by a niche crowd.
  • Works for any build that relies on precision, from snipers to pistol users.

⚠️ Cons

  • Last updated in April 2021—might not work with the latest game version if it's changed since then.
  • Only adds one perk; if you're looking for a broader overhaul, this won't cover it.
🎯 Is This For You?
For players who hate weapon sway and spread and want a straightforward fix without overhauling the whole combat system. Perfect for precision builds like snipers or stealth archers. Skip if you enjoy the challenge of managing recoil or want more complex perk trees.
