Simple Melee Maintenance Tools

FEATURES

A variety of tools used for servicing and manipulating melee weapons, ranging from large machinery to smaller maintenance tools. Repairs, upgrades, and downgrades can be performed. These tools include welding guns for reinforcing melee weapons with scrap metal, whetstones for repairing one-handed bladed melee weapons, grinding wheels for repairing two-handed bladed melee weapons, milling machines for downgrading unique melee weapons, lathes and shapers for melee weapon buffs, and anvils for repairing two-handed melee weapons.

INSTALLATION

Install the latest main file. For manual installation, extract the file to your game’s data folder. For a mod manager installation, install the file with your preferred mod manager.

COMPATIBILITY

This mod will conflict with any mods that make changes to the items and objects that this mod modifies.

KNOWN ISSUES

This mod adds new scripted mechanics that use functions that I'm still learning about. A couple maintenance tools allow for maintenace even if the player is not currently holding an eligible melee weapon, this is currently being looked at. Issues involving messages or downgrades may be inconsistent in the initial version. Submitting a bug report will help me fix things faster if the mod is not working as intended.

PLANNED FEATURES

For the next version I'm considering making milling machines dispense weapon repair kits when weapons get dissembled.
