📋 About This Mod
OVERVIEW:
It's been long overdue, but finally here it is: A high quality model/texture upgrade for the Shoulder Mounted Machine Gun from Lonesome Road, one of the coolest weapon designs in all of Fallout. Not only is the base gun upgraded, but the attachments are actually given a unique appearance, unlike in vanilla. Aside from that, there are also 2 more base variants, and 5 new unique variants, which are detailed below. TTW is integrally supported, and patches for TOTNW and JSRS are provided. Enjoy!
NEW WEAPONS:
Shoulder Mounted Minigun
This stubby little thing has more widespread distribution throughout the Wasteland, meaning you can find it outside of the Divide, in the same sorts of places as the regular Minigun. It's chambered in 5mm and boasts a super fast fire-rate, but the weapon health is lower than average.
Shoulder Mounted Machine Gun
This high tech piece of machinery is provided as an upgrade to the normal SMMG, attained by first crafting the Targeting Computer at any workbench, and then combining it with the SMMG. It provides a large increase in range/accuracy, and lowers the VATS cost as well. But it does make it weigh more since you've got an extra hunk of metal to carry around.
UNIQUE VARIANTS:
Tenderizer
An absolute behemoth of a weapon, chambered in 12. 7mm giving it unparalleled stopping power. It's never easy to gain this kind of power though, so be prepared to face the most fearsome creature in the Divide if you want it.Red Flare
In the pre-war era, this device was used for ceremonial purposes, launching flares at parades or gala events. But in the post-apocalypse, such things still have their uses.Phalanx
A bizarre contraption of dubious practical use, it nonetheless does provide an intimidating appearance to your enemies. It seems to be well-liked among skirt-wearing tech illiterate types. Can be switched between ranged and melee modes by holding "E" while equipped.Greed Machine
It's said that in the pre-war, a certain solider in Hopeville became obsessed with filling the drum of this thing with as many 5. 56 rounds as humanly possible. This legacy carries on into the present day...just don't ask how the reload actually works.
This mod upgrades the Shoulder Mounted Machine Gun (SMMG) with high-quality visuals and introduces several new variants to the game world. It's a visual and content enhancement for players who want more variety in their weaponry, backed by a strong community following.
