📋 About This Mod

Description:

Real Recoil has always been the best feeling recoil mod to me, but was slightly held back by the fact that it needed INI tweaking for any mod that added new ammo types. The INI system also had a few bugs like giving weapons downward recoil if set to a value < 1 (which some ammos had by default). This mod changes the recoil calculations to use a configurable amount based on weapon damage (among the other default factors like weight and strength), meaning it works with any modded weapon/ammo type without any hassle.

Also fixes the "broken items can't be equipped" message upon loading the game with this mod enabled since it was annoying.

For permission reasons, this mod requires the original mod.

Q: Any reason to use this over Immersive Recoil or Not Viewmodel Recoil?

A: Nope, just whichever feels best to you.

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

Real Recoil Re-Calculated reworks the Real Recoil mod to calculate recoil based on weapon damage instead of ammo type, ensuring compatibility with all mods without patches. It includes minor optimizations and configurable options, requiring the original Real Recoil mod. With 304 endorsements and 101,820 downloads, it's a popular tweak for Fallout 4 players seeking improved recoil mechanics.
