📋 About This Mod

This mod is now included in Outlander's 2024 Megamod

Want to terrorize the citizens of the Mojave? Or do unspeakable acts of depravity? Well this armor set is for you!

Based on the Fallout 4 Power Armor of the same name, the Raider Power Armor is an entirely custom recreation that's been modified to better fit the style of Fallout: New Vegas while maintaining it's original aesthetic.

Additionally, considerations have been made towards the why and how of this mod (Wait, why can Fiends use Power armor?), and it has been added to all appropriate level lists so the armor is entirely integrated into the game.

Wanna grab a pair of this sweet armor in-game? You might just find a set worn by the Fiend boss Cook-Cook, or somewhere in Vault 3. You might also find some in the wild, donned by only the meanest and most savage (I. E. High Leveled) Fiends.

New in 1. 3:

The armor now supports TOTNW 2. 0! There are two additional options when installing the mod for both a TOTNW version, and a TOTNW Lite version that retains the original mesh while allowing the armor to use the TOTNW animations.

Incompatibilities:

None so far. If there are any, please leave them down in the comments below so I can sort them out.

The Future:

Still got a few things I'd like to add on before I really consider this complete!

  • []Two unique variants.

    []A random encounter.

  • And several minor mesh tweaks.

    Credits:

Me, Myself, and I - All modeling, texturing, and implementation.

Lady Aria - Helped to structure the model correctly so there aren't any spooky floating geometry in first person.

Draxtemsklounts - Taught me how to rig the power armor up correctly, even though I absolutely hated it.

Xamie - Gave me endless tips and advice on how to improve as a 3D modeler.

    AllanMetropol18 / Dokueki - Did basically all the TOTNW 2. 0 implementation.

SillyVladek - Helped me massively improve the texture.

Revswagger - Took those sick looking screenshots!

Ultra - Fixed up some issues with the armor, and was kind enough to let me include them.

And of course all the people I'm probably forgetting that offered assistance. Shoutouts in particular to all those cool peeps in "th3overseer's malcontents" , "Ramblelime's Community Server" , "NH Arms" "Sweet's Chalet".

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

Adds a custom Raider Power Armor set inspired by Fallout 4, reworked to fit New Vegas's aesthetic. Fully integrated into leveled lists and worn by several Fiends, both named and unnamed. A solid cosmetic/gear mod for fans of raider-style armor.

✨ Key Features

Custom Raider Power Armor set based on Fallout 4's design, adjusted for New Vegas's aesthetic.
Fully integrated into leveled lists, so it appears naturally in gameplay.
Worn by several named and unnamed Fiends, adding lore-friendly variety.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Community-approved with 134 endorsements and nearly 5k downloads — a proven pick.
  • Lore-friendly integration: Fiends wearing raider-style power armor fits the wasteland vibe.
  • Leveled list integration means you'll encounter it without console commands or crafting menus.

⚠️ Cons

  • Last updated March 2025 — no recent patches, so compatibility with future game updates is uncertain.
  • No screenshots or install instructions in the description — you're flying blind until you try it.
  • Only adds one armor set — if you want a full raider overhaul, this is just a piece of the puzzle.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Fallout: New Vegas players who want a bit of Fallout 4's raider flair without breaking immersion. Great for fans of raider-style gear who want more variety on Fiends. Skip if you're looking for a full armor overhaul or gameplay changes — this is purely a visual/gear addition.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 5 minutes

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Use a mod manager like Vortex or FOMM to install — it's a simple drag-and-drop, but a manager keeps your load order clean.
  • Since it's leveled-list integrated, you'll start seeing it on Fiends after a few levels — don't expect it at level 1.
  • If you're using other mods that alter Fiend inventories, load this one after them to ensure the armor appears.
