Power Armor Footstep Sound (PAFS) - Clean and Easy (NV and TTW)

Power Armor Footstep Sounds (PAFS) is a simple mod that simply carries out the simple task of simple sound editing for Power Armor footsteps.

It just adds the new sounds to the exact paths and filenames that Fallout New Vegas or Tale of Two Wastelands would draw it's sounds from in the first place.

This was inspired by Alternate Power Armor Footstep Sounds by Stride11, and exists now due to some issues that mod caused. And since it was seemingly abandoned in 2016, I picked up the Infinity Gauntlet and said "I'll do it myself."

I narrowed down the location of FNV and TTW's sound files for Power Armor and just slammed Fallout 4 step sounds into the folders. Works fine.

Compatible with basically everything that doesn't also change Power Armor footsteps, specifically. This mod doesn't change other footsteps or sounds.

The locations (where my files will overwrite), if you care

Data>Sound>fx>fol>powerarmor_walkrun

Data>Sound>fx>fst>armor>power>left

Data>Sound>fx>fst>armor>power>right

Now read closely. Pick the right one for you.

Very quiet. But still noticeable.

You can tell they're there. But not too loud.

Medium Plus: (Recommended)

Almost didn't exist, but made for myself when Loud was too much. Not too loud to be annoying, but loud enough to sound powerful.

Very noticeable. Chonky. Powerful. Can be annoying.

Louder than loud. This is for those who (for some reason) think (for whatever reason) that LOUD just isn't loud enough. It's annoying. Install at your own discretion.
