Open Megaton

Opens the Megaton Worldspace to be seemlessly integrated into the DC Wasteland!

[]Megaton Gate opens and closes, based on the player.

[]New Guards added to the Crow's Nests to help defend Megaton.

• []If shot, they should fall out of the nest.

[]Placed many MultiBounds to help with performance.

[]Rebuilt NavMesh for Megaton.

[]New LOD pieces so Open Megaton still has LOD.

• []Highly recommend you also use: TTW Fallout 3 LOD

WARNING:

• []This REQUIRES a new save, and cannot be removed from an existing save!

  []There WILL be a performance hit, though relatively modern PCs should be fine.

  []Without NVR, I see only an occasional dip in performance but typically am at a constant 60FPS. This includes the Capital Landscapes version.

  []With NVR, there is a hit though FPS in the area is typically consistent around 50-55 FPS, with only occasional dips. That's just the price to pay for better graphics.

  []If using the Capital Landscapes version and NVR, expect even more of a hit to performance due to the added lights and other items.

  Known Issues:

  • []Confessor Cromwell will repeat the last line of his speech everyday.

    []This is not a bug with the mod, but with TTW.

    []This is reported to be fixed in TTW 3. 5.

  []The Capital Landscapes version has some buildings extruding out of the wall.
  • []Not really anything I can do here without remaking the house meshes, or cutting them; both things I'm not really wanting to do.

    []Just think of it as buildings built in to the wall due to lack of space.
